Ramos CS, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is actively hiring a Senior Construction Manager. The Senior Construction Manager serves as the primary coordinating authority for all construction-related activities, exercising decisive leadership across a complex, multi-stakeholder program environment. Working in close coordination with parties providing services under separate agreements, the CM is accountable for managing critical interfaces spanning quality assurance and control, inspection, surveying, and materials testing, integrating these disciplines into a unified delivery framework that upholds the program's commitments to schedule, budget, safety, and uncompromising quality standards.
- Develop and administer construction management procedures and comprehensive project construction management plans.
- Manage all project interfaces during construction phases, including coordination with multi-disciplinary teams operating under separate agreements.
- Lead constructability reviews and provide pre-construction support services.
- Prepare and review construction logistics plans and maintenance of operations (MOO) plans.
- Provide quality assurance (QA) services throughout construction, and manage the quality control (QC) framework.
- Review and process contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs) in a timely manner.
- Manage the construction contract change authorization process from initiation through resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive project progress documentation and both hard and soft cost reporting.
- Analyze impacts resulting from changes and changed conditions; provide written assessments and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain safety oversight management projects and procedures in compliance with Airport Authority requirements.
- Develop and manage a proactive claims prevention program, including safety monitoring and support for construction drawings and record drawings.
- Coordinate code inspections; verify acceptance testing for constructed facility components and systems.
- Facilitate facility user familiarization, operational trials, and turnover; verify punch list completion including record drawings.
- Provide continous oversight of construction activities in the field, ensuring compliance with Airport Authority's safety, quality, OEHS, and MMRP processes.
- Manage the Design-Builder or Contractor in the preparation of its Phasing and Logistics Plan and Traffic/Pedestrian Management Plan.
- Ensure conformance with Airport Authority-approved logistics and phasing plans throughout construction.
- Provide oversight and coordination of professional commissioning, project operation and equipment training, and maintenance coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other related technical field required. Master's degree preferred.
- 20 or more years of Construction Management experience.
- Demonstrated experience on major airport projects or capital improvement programs valued at $1B or greater.
- Optional certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc. or any other relevant professional licensure and/or certifications.
- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $200,000 to $225,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
