Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Manager who will play an active role in building our Construction Engineering & Inspection team in Texas! Preferred office locations are San Antonio, New Braunfels, or Austin.

Responsibilities
- Manage multi-disciplined projects for TXDOT and other public agencies.
- Provide project management for all Construction Inspection projects.
- Build and maintain client relationships.
- Achieve or exceed the financial goals for the project.
- Organize cross-functional activities, and coordinate project activities for the completion of the project (i.e., project deliverables, schedule and budget).
- Management and oversight of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages for state highway and interchange improvement projects.
- Provide guidance for inspection staff, review, recommend and process change orders, partial payments and closeout of projects.
- Review shop drawings for horizontal & vertical alignments, drainage plans, construction staging/traffic control plans, signing & pavement markings plans, utility coordination, sub-consultant coordination, and preparation of right-of-way plans for various type of projects and clients.
- Establish working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managers.
- Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and schedule performance.
- Prepare technical and cost proposals.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, scheduling, assigning work, reviewing performance, and recommends salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering preferred.
- 8 years of transportation engineering experience with strong technical skills in construction required.
- PE license preferred.
- Formal training in project management preferred.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
- Possess a good understanding of project contract terms and conditions is expected.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
