Collier Engineering is hiring for a Professional Civil Engineer:
Collier Engineering is a family-owned, multi-disciplinary consulting firm providing clients comprehensive design, engineering, and construction quality assurance solution. We are seeking a Professional Engineer with extensive background in site development plus project management experience.
The ideal candidate will prior involvement with Nashville, site analysis and preliminary studies, design calculations and reports, development of construction plans and specifications, cost estimates and permit applications. We are looking for a driven individual who will work collectively with the Design team and has leadership capabilities.
Professional Engineer Responsibilities and Duties:
- Due diligence and site analysis
- Prepare engineering or technical computations and preparing design solutions.
- Preparation of construction documents including demolition plans, layout plans, erosion control plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management, utilities, site details, transportation improvements, and project cost estimates/analysis, etc.
Professional Engineer Required Experience:
- B. S. in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering License in TN
- Working knowledge of principles and practices
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D software package
- Capable of using Microsoft Office suite with excellent communication skills.
- Team-oriented; excellent communication skills to work with team
- Valid Driver’s License. Must qualify under company auto insurance program.
- Ability to pass a drug test
