School Psychologist
Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
A degree from a specialist-level program of study (e.g., Ed.S,, PsyS, CAGS, Masters) from a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) or American Psychological Association (APA) accredited or approved graduate training program in school psychology that includes the following:

School Psychologist Certificate or Florida school psychology licensure is required.
This position is a part of a two-year grant. The purpose of this position is to provide additional support for CCPS Pre-K programs, particularly the Pre-K evaluation team assisting in child find, participating in evaluation results and IEP development and meetings. This position will be part of a team working with the existing Pre-K evaluation team members and will provide evaluation, consultation, and direct services. Experience working with Preschool/Pre-Kindergarten age children is preferred.

- A minimum of sixty (60) semester hours of graduate credit in school psychology;
- Completion of a minimum of three (3) semester hours of supervised and sequenced practica experiences prior to the internship in paragraph (2)(c); and,
- Completion of a twelve-hundred (1200) hour, supervised internship with at least six-hundred (600) hours completed in an elementary or secondary school setting. No more than six (6) hours of internship credit may be applied to the sixty (60) semester hour requirement in paragraph (2)(a)
