Occupational Therapist
Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
Masters degree from an accredited education institution; or, has successfully completed the academic requirements of an educational program recognized by the Florida State Board of Occupational Therapy Practice and is licensed to practice in the state of Florida. Basic computer skills required (e.g., ability to use email).
The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
Current valid driver license (itinerant staff) and Certified Occupational Therapist certificate.

Occupational Therapist (School-Based) Position
A valid Florida Occupational Therapist license is required. The purpose of this position is to support student evaluation for occupational therapy services and to assist in determining service needs.
The Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, participate in eligibility and IEP team meetings, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine appropriate services for students. Occupational Therapists provide direct therapy services to students who demonstrate a need, as determined by the IEP team.
Assignments will be based on student needs as determined by the school district. Responsibilities include evaluation, consultation, and direct service delivery in accordance with student IEPs.
Experience working in a school-based setting and with a range of student needs is preferred.
