What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geophysicist position at Collier Consulting?
Primary responsibilities include participating and completing a variety of geophysical surveys such as: borehole logging, electrical resistivity, GPR, seismic, magnetics and electromagnetics. Expected job tasks will be performing field acquisition, data processing, report writing, presentations, or other digital deliverables. We are seeking a candidate who has a strong work ethic. You must be disciplined, organized, able to understand and articulate technical / geophysical information, and work well in small teams. Position requires working in various weather and terrain conditions. Candidates must be self-sufficient and capable of physical labor and lifting associated with field instrumentation. Travel is required and at times may be on short notice. Work hours may vary while conducting field investigations.

Qualifications
- Bachelors in Geophysics or Geology with emphasis on geophysics
- Field methods experience, preferably some seismic, electrical or electromagnetics
- Exposure to data processing with a variety of commercially available software
