This is a full-time on-site role located in West, TX, for a Traveling Superintendent. The Traveling Superintendent will oversee day-to-day construction activities, including managing subcontractors and schedules, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols, and monitoring project progress. They will communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, provide problem-solving expertise, and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Frequent travel within the region is required for this role.
- Strong project management skills, including managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors.
- Experience with construction methods, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with clients, teams, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and technology tools is a plus.
- Ability to travel frequently and work on-site at project locations in the West, TX region.
- Previous experience in commercial construction and a solid work history in a superintendent role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
