Collegiate Peaks Veterinary Hospital is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated team member who enjoys working with both people and animals. This position combines front desk customer service responsibilities with hands-on support for our veterinary team. You’ll help clients feel welcome, keep appointments running smoothly, and assist with patient care. We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed. This is an in-person position and does not have the potential for remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and client communications, schedule appointments, assist with client questions.
- Welcome clients and patients, manage check-in and out, and process payments.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with pet owners.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient handling, restraint, and care.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist during appointments.
- Clean and disinfect exam rooms, kennels, equipment, and common areas.
- Help with laundry, stocking, and general hospital organization.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats (and some other small companion animals) of various sizes and temperaments.
- Ability to manage competing tasks in a busy veterinary setting.
- Dependable, attentive to detail, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Willing to learn both front desk and animal care responsibilities.
- Previous veterinary or animal handling experience preferred, but not required.
