Part-time Cafeteria Assistant

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is hiring for a cafeteria assistant to support in the cleaning and set-up of the cafeteria during lunches. Part-time hours, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Days could be flexible if not available 5 days per week.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is a tuition-free public charter academy, providing an academically challenging program in a safe, structured environment. CCSL opened its doors in September 2013 to serve students in K-3. The school has expanded each school year and currently serves students in K-12 as of the 2022-23 school year.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clean up of cafeteria space in preparation for each lunch (wash tables, sweep, mop as needed)
• Empty trash as needed, dispose of trash in outside dumpster as needed
• Utilize at all times exemplary practices in sanitation and personal cleanliness.
• Perform such other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s)
  
  

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior food service or related field experience preferred.
• Follow safety and sanitation practices and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds (trash) required
• Ability to work with a diversity of individuals
• Working as part of a team
• Available 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (days flexible 2-5 days per week)
