Duties

• Assist students and families by explaining financial aid options, including grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs.
• Review and process financial aid applications using systems such as PeopleSoft and Ellucian to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to determine eligibility for various aid programs based on individual circumstances.
• Manage loan processing procedures, ensuring timely disbursement and adherence to federal and institutional guidelines.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all financial aid transactions, documentation, and correspondence for audit purposes.
• Collaborate with the education administration team to coordinate student aid packages and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to students, staff, and external agencies through various channels.

Experience

• Proven experience in financial services or education administration with a focus on financial aid or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and loan processing procedures.
• Familiarity with student information systems such as PeopleSoft or Ellucian is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Solid math skills for analyzing financial data accurately and efficiently.
• Prior experience in handling financial aid applications, including federal student aid programs, is a plus. This role is paid and offers an engaging environment where your skills will directly contribute to student success!
• Previous Banking Experience is a plus

Pay: From $31,200.00 per year
