We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing outreach specialist to assist with student recruitment and community awareness. This role is ideal for someone who excels at networking, relationship-building, and local engagement to help increase school enrollment.
Job Summary:
The Student Recruitment & Community Outreach Contractor will visit local daycares, preschools, community centers, businesses and homes to promote our school. They will be responsible for developing relationships with families, distributing promotional materials, and representing the school at community events.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Recruitment & Outreach:
- Proactively visit daycares, preschools, libraries, and community organizations to share information about the school.
- Organize and participate in open houses, and enrollment events.
- Establish partnerships with local businesses, churches, and parent groups to generate referrals.
- Track and follow up with potential families to assist them in the enrollment process.
Community Engagement & Marketing:
- Represent the school at local fairs, networking events, and family-friendly activities.
- Distribute promotional materials (flyers, brochures, etc.) in high-traffic community locations.
- Canvas assigned neighborhoods to build relationships and trust with potential families.
- Meet or exceed outreach and recruitment targets and performance metrics.
- Keep track of family interactions and follow up as needed.
- Represent the school professionally and positively at all times.
- Provide feedback and insights on outreach efforts to improve recruitment strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with parents and community members.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, admissions, or community outreach preferred.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Access to reliable transportation (travel within the Littleton area is required).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required.
Position Details:
- Probationary Period: Initial position contracted for 90 days with goal and potential for extension based on performance.
- Hourly Rate: $25–$28 per hour (commensurate with experience). Bonus available for retention.
- Hours: Flexible; approximately 20 hours per week (some evenings/weekends for events).
