- 1 year scratch food preparation experience
- Prior experience regularly preparing meals for large groups
- Dependable Flexible
- - varying hours and weekends
- Works well in fast-paced environment
- Basic knife skills
- Familiar with various cooking techniques
- Food safety knowledge
- Customer-focused
- Enjoys seniors
- Team player
- Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised
- Serv-safe-certified a plus
Job Tasks to serve Residents as LINE COOK:
- Prep work
- Cooking and plating menu items
- Ensures meals meets nutritional requirements as well as appetizing in appearance
- Prepares food based on standardized recipes
- Assists with daily kitchen duties and restocking inventory
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment
- Cleans up at end of shift
