- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Utilize dental softwarefor scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment for all procedures.
- Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients.
- Assist with endodontics procedures by preparing materials and instruments as required.
- Stay updated on dental coding practices to ensure proper documentation of services rendered.
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant license.
- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of dental coding.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages, particularly children in pediatric dentistry.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
