Role Description
This part-time, on-site role is located in Des Moines, IA. As a College Sitter, you will provide personalized childcare in the homes of registered families within the community. Key responsibilities include supervising children, engaging in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and communicating with families about each day’s experience. Scheduling is flexible, and sitters have full control over their working hours and assignments, which are coordinated through an online platform.
Qualifications
- Childcare experience, including the ability to supervise, entertain, and ensure the well-being of children of various ages
- Skills in engaging with children through creative and interactive activities
- Strong reliability, trustworthiness, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents
- Must possess a reliable vehicle for transportation
- Flexibility and the ability to work independently, while adhering to agreed schedules
