Dietary Aide (AM or PM)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious meals to our residents/patients in a clean and safe environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food service and have experience in meal preparation.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to residents/patients
- Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions when preparing meals
- Ensure that all food is handled and stored properly to maintain safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients and their families

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food service role, preferably in a healthcare setting such as assisted living, hospital, or nursing home
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
