Environmental, Health and Safety Manager
The College of the Ozarks is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Environmental, Health
and Safety Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position and includes benefits. The successful
applicant will be responsible to improve regulatory compliance to reduce risk and facilitate the
implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance strategies for the College. A
bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of five years of experience in Environmental,
Health and Safety is strongly preferred. Experience working with Missouri Department of
Natural Resources (MDNR) and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) is also
desired. Preferred certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial
Hygienist (CIH), and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM).
The candidate must demonstrate strong qualities that will represent the five-fold mission of the
