Adjunct Faculty in Theatre
College of the Ozarks invites applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty position in Theatre.
College of the Ozarks is committed to hiring faculty members who embrace the
institution’s Christian mission, pursue excellence in teaching undergraduate students, and
serve as mentors and positive role models. Faculty are expected to be self-motivated and
versatile, with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with
other faculty and staff. Primary responsibilities for this position include teaching
undergraduate foundational theatre courses such as Exploration of Theatre, Movement
and Vocal Training for the Stage, and Introduction to Technical Theatre.
Candidates should hold an M.F.A. or M.A. in Theatre. A terminal degree is preferred, as is
undergraduate teaching experience. College of the Ozarks is a Christian liberal arts college
with a commitment to faith-based education. The campus is in Point Lookout, MO, near
Branson.
