Adjunct Faculty in Applied Nutrition
College of the Ozarks seeks applicants for part-time faculty position in the department of
Applied Nutrition.
Primary responsibilities for this position are developing and teaching undergraduate
nutrition courses based on the candidate’s credentials and expertise (potential areas
include food production, cultural foods, foodservice management, sports nutrition, or
community nutrition).
Candidates should hold an M.S. in nutrition, food science, or a related area, or be
credentialed as a Registered Dietitian. A Ph.D. is preferred, as is undergraduate teaching
experience.

demonstrate excellence in teaching undergraduate students, a commitment to serving as
a mentor and positive role model, and an interest in the relationship of nutrition and
Christian faith. College of the Ozarks is a small (1,400 students), liberal arts, work-study
college with a commitment to evangelical Christian faith and service located in southwest
