What You'll Teach
Courses may include topics such as:
- Manufacturing fundamentals
- Industrial safety
- Precision measurement and metrology
- Blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Metallurgy
- Manual machining
- CNC machining and programming
- CAD/CAM using Mastercam and SolidWorks
- Manufacturing mathematics and calculations
Students gain hands-on experience preparing for careers in aerospace, automotive, advanced manufacturing, and other high-demand industries. Many courses also prepare students for National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certifications.
Minimum Qualifications
You may qualify if you have:
- A bachelor's degree and at least two years of professional manufacturing experience
OR
- An associate degree and at least six years of professional manufacturing experience
Teaching experience is welcome but not required. Industry experience is highly valued.
