Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Baton Rouge, LA, for a Clinical Simulation & Skills Lab Faculty member. The individual will manage and facilitate the daily operations of the simulation and skills lab, including scheduling, setup, and maintenance of equipment. They will support students by providing hands-on instruction, overseeing clinical practices, and facilitating simulation-based learning. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the development of simulation scenarios, collaborating with faculty to align educational objectives, and ensuring adherence to best practices in teaching and simulation methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, and staff
- Subject matter expertise in Medicine with a focus on clinical practice and simulation-based education
- Experience in Training students or professionals in healthcare-related skills and procedures
- Knowledge of clinical and educational Research or Clinical Research methodologies
- Active unencumbered nursing license is preferred
- Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or a related field is required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- Strong affinity for technology such as Anatomage tables, human patient simulators, task trainers.
