Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Coaching And Training
- Assisting with practice sessions, including organizing drills and teaching skills.
- Providing individual and group instruction to players.
- Developing and implementing training programs.
- Assisting with game strategy and preparation.
- Providing support during games, including issuing instructions and advice to players.
- Analyzing game performance and providing feedback to the head coach.
- Assisting with recruiting efforts, including scouting potential players and contacting them.
- Supporting athletes' academic and personal development.
- Managing equipment and supplies.
- Recording statistics and data.
- Communicating with parents and other stakeholders.
- Scheduling games and travel arrangements.
- Maintaining knowledge of the sport and coaching techniques.
- Ensuring compliance with all team, league, and institution rules.
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Previous coaching or playing experience.
- Technical knowledge of the sport of basketball.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
