The Department of Engineering at the College of Charleston invites applications for a visiting position at the instructor or assistant/associate professor rank in electrical engineering for the 2026–2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in electrical engineering, including circuits, signals and systems, control systems, electromechanical energy conversion, electromagnetics, and power systems.
Candidates must possess an M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering to hold a visiting instructor or visiting assistant/associate position, respectively. Appointment renewal beyond the initial term is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluations and the availability of funding.
The teaching load is four courses per semester and may include a combination of lecture and laboratory instruction. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and student success.
