Job description:
College and Career Plaza seeks a strategic and mission-driven Program Director to lead and expand college and career advising programming across partner high schools in Northern New Mexico. This leadership role oversees program strategy, staff management, school partnerships, project implementation, and organizational growth to ensure high-quality, equitable services for students and families.
Hybrid Position
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and expansion of college and career advising programs across multiple school sites.
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate program staff to ensure strong program quality and accountability.
- Develop systems, curriculum, and program models that support organizational growth and consistency across schools.
- Manage grant-funded initiatives, program goals, budgets, reporting, and outcomes evaluation.
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, colleges, employers, and community organizations.
- Oversee strategic student programming including internships, career exploration, FAFSA support, workshops, and large-scale events.
- Analyze program data and prepare reports demonstrating impact and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director on organizational strategy, staffing, and program development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- Leadership experience in education, youth development, nonprofit management, or related fields.
- Strong staff supervision, program management, and partnership-building skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom, Mailchimp and/or similar tools.
- Ability to learn and utilize emergent technologies.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning abilities.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and pass a background check.
- Experience with college access, career pathways, and student support systems preferred.
Additional Information
- Some evening work required during the school year.
- Travel between school sites and regional meetings/events required.
