Custodian (Contract-To-Hire Temp) - PM Shift

We're looking for a contract-to-hire Custodian for our PM shift. This position is based in our Jersey City, NJ office headquarters and will report to the Senior Workplace Manager. The shift schedule is Monday-Friday from 2pm-10:30pm. What You’ll Do: Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies. Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks Assist in setup and breakdown of events and meetings Work with Facilities, Workplace, and Operations to ensure office needs are met Respond to tickets and requests from other departments Be able to read chemical SDS (SAFETY DATA SHEET) Other duties as assigned Who You Are: Custodial experience preferred but not required Can prioritize tasks given during scheduled work shift Be detail-oriented with evaluating inventory of supplies Have a strong attention to detail with custodial tasks including cleanliness and sanitation practices Flexibility to adjust to schedule/requirement changes. Physical Requirements: Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time. Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks. Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds. Phone Answering: Talking on the phone and texting may be required, as well as manual dexterity to operate a computer and phone system efficiently. Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Hourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $19. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set. Shift 2 workers are also eligible for an additional $1/hr premium, in addition to their standard hourly rate. Collectors uses e-Verify to validate your ability to work legally in the United States. Salary : $19
