Firearms Pricing Specialist

Position Overview

Collectors Firearms is seeking a motivated and trainable Firearms Pricing Specialist with a genuine interest in firearms, history, and collectibles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has a foundation of firearms knowledge and wants to continue learning while developing expertise in firearm identification, research, pricing, and valuation.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn from experienced firearms professionals. Extensive appraisal experience is not required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, aptitude, and passion who can be developed into a knowledgeable pricing specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with researching and pricing modern, collectible, and antique firearms.
• Identify firearm manufacturers, models, configurations, condition, and relevant features.
• Research historical information, market values, comparable sales, and current market trends.
• Prepare accurate pricing information and product details for retail and eCommerce sales.
• Learn to recognize factors that affect firearm value, including condition, originality, rarity, provenance, and market demand.
• Work closely with experienced pricing, buying, sales, and eCommerce team members.
• Help ensure firearm descriptions and pricing information are accurate and complete.
• Continuously expand knowledge of firearms, manufacturers, historical periods, and the collectibles market.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in firearms, firearm history, or collecting.
• Basic firearms knowledge required; advanced knowledge is a plus but not necessary.
• Willingness and ability to learn are essential.
• Strong research skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
