Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Bookkeeper with 1–3 years of hands-on experience managing books for small to mid-sized businesses. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, performing routine bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial reports, and communicating with clients to ensure their books stay clean, organized, and up to date.
You will work closely with our tax and advisory team to ensure clients receive timely, accurate financial information that drives better decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for assigned client accounts
- Record and categorize financial transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Perform weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain general ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with payroll processing (as applicable)
- Communicate with clients to request missing documents or clarify transactions
- Support tax team during year-end preparation
- Help establish and maintain strong client relationships to build trust and long-term retention
- Identify issues, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improved financial workflows

Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO certification a plus)
- Experience managing books for multiple businesses or clients
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable communicating with clients through various channels
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred

- Familiarity with tools like Dext, Hubdoc, or workflow software
- Experience supporting year-end tax preparation
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,001.00 per year
