What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interior Design Assistant - part time position at Collected Interior Design?
Are you passionate about interior design and looking for an opportunity to grow and learn from a licensed designer? Our small team is seeking an entry-level interior design assistant to join us for 15-25 hours. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various areas of the business and grow your skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Running business errands and furniture deliveries as needed
- Attending client meetings and site visits to take measurements and photos/videos for social media
- Assisting with material and furniture selections
- Preparing design booklets and Autocad drawings
- Supporting the designers with various tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Interior Design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
The successful candidate must be available to work a minimum of 15 hours a week within business hours, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to different areas of the interior design business and work directly with a licensed designer.
