The Role
We are seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead on-site operations from start to finish, carpentry experience is an asset. This role requires strong organization, clear communication, and an understanding of residential construction. You will be responsible for overseeing single or multiple construction projects, assist in maintaining the schedule and involved in project overview meetings. Maintaining a high quality and site standards focusing on safety and cleanliness, presenting a professional approach to all that we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on-site construction activities and daily operations
- Manage subcontractors to ensure quality, accountability, and schedule adherence
- Working along side project managers with sequencing, milestones, and material flow
- Ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and design intent
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and project partners
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, and designers
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively
- Enforce safety standards and code compliance
- Provide hands-on support as needed
Qualifications
- Experience as a Construction or Site Supervisor in residential construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
- Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and client-facing presence
- Proficiency or ability and willingness to work with construction management software
Preferred:
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL)
- Carpentry background
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with high-end renovations and period homes
