Job Description:
Colleague is currently looking for a Landscape Crew Member / Driver in the Hurst, TX area. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for someone who wants more than just a labor job — someone motivated, dependable, and eager to grow into a leadership role.
This position is ideal for a hardworking individual who enjoys outdoor work, can safely operate company vehicles, and is looking to build a long-term career path toward becoming a Crew Leader or Foreman.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general maintenance.
- Support installation projects such as sod laying, planting, mulch/rock installation, and seasonal color.
- Safely operate company trucks, trailers, and equipment (training provided).
- Load/unload tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
- Follow job instructions from Foreman and report progress throughout the day.
- Maintain clean equipment and keep trucks organized.
- Uphold company safety standards and wear proper PPE at all times.
- Show initiative, reliability, and leadership qualities to prepare for growth into a Foreman role.
Skills:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting, digging, bending, and performing repetitive tasks.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
- Able to follow verbal directions and work as part of a team.
- Experience driving trucks with trailers is a plus (but training available).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful.
- Desire to grow into a leadership position.
Education and Experience:
- No formal education required.
- Landscaping or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be dependable and able to arrive on time to job sites daily.
- Valid driver’s license required (clean driving record preferred).
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
