Job description:

We are looking for an Account Manager who is responsible for managing and strengthening strategic relationships with commercial landscaping maintenance and service clients, with a strong focus on high-end commercial partnerships. This role ensures exceptional service delivery, identifies growth opportunities, and oversees the execution of high-quality landscape maintenance services.

The ideal candidate has experience in account management, landscape operations.


Key Responsabilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of high-end commercial clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-end commercial maintenance and services clients.
  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of maintenance services, landscape enhancements, irrigation work, and other related services.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by understanding their needs and providing customized solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and recommendations based on site inspections and audits.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional projects or seasonal enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—operations, production, irrigation, and safety—to ensure service quality and scope fulfillment.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure service standards, review work, and address client concerns.
  • Manage budgets, reports, and performance metrics for assigned accounts.
  • Proactively resolve operational issues with a client-focused and solution-driven approach.


Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working with high-level commercial clients.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance, basic horticulture, and field operations.
  • Ability to conduct site inspections and evaluate landscape conditions.
  • Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and sales skills for closing new opportunities.
  • Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on client satisfaction and service quality.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with field and operations teams.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (CRM systems, Microsoft Office, landscape management software).


Education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Agronomy, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • 2–4 years of experience in Account Management within landscaping, commercial maintenance, or similar service industries.
  • Experience working with high-value commercial clients or premium projects.
  • Relevant certifications (CLP, CLT, Irrigation Technician, etc.) are a plus.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license.
