Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end ideation and execution of high-volume social content across platforms with limited oversight
- Develop content that drives engagement and cultural relevance, informed by performance and audience behavior
- Constantly monitor social media platforms to identify emerging trends, cultural topics and formats, translating them into actionable content ideas for our accounts
- Analyze real-time performance to extract insights and continuously optimize content
- Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making in fast-moving, ambiguous situations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders to execute against fast-moving priorities
- Consistently generate strong, social-first ideas and concepts across brainstorms,kickoffsand team meetings
- Extraordinary content creation skills, capable of execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets, including design, video, editing and writing
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Final Cut / After Effects / CapCut / Edits, etc. and similar software
- Deep understanding of social media trends, platform algorithms and digital storytelling
- Demonstrates a high level of independence, accountability, and initiative in day-to-day work
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across personalities and disciplines
- Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and move work forward independently with limited oversight
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to execute tasks flawlessly
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Collaborative team player who communicates clearly and effectively
- Curiosity around emerging tech and tools (AI, editing, content creation workflows) and a desire to continuously evolve
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Between 2 and 5 years of professional creative experience, with a demonstrable passion
- for making creative content on a spectrum of social media platforms, preferably within an agency environment
- Experience owning day-to-day social execution formultiplebrands or clientsin a fast-paced environment
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to Detroit.
