Position Overview
As an Automotive Dealer Floorplan Inventory Auditor, you will support financial institutions by verifying financed vehicle inventory at automotive dealerships. This is a field-based role offering independence, flexibility, and direct exposure to the automotive and finance industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Always represent CSI and its clients with professionalism
- Conduct on-site inventory audits at automotive dealerships
- Verify vehicle inventory using VINs (Vehicle Identification Numbers)
- Reconcile units not present on-site (e.g., sold, on demo, in transit, at repair facilities)
- Travel to nearby off-site locations (e.g., body shops, storage lots) as needed
- Capture digital photos and complete inspection reports using mobile technology
- Review and verify sales and inventory documentation
- Communicate audit results to CSI in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications & Skills
- Automotive dealership or related industry experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within approximately 50 miles of home
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to learn quickly and follow detailed procedures
