Day Treatment Coordinator - Full-Time- Neuro

For more than 40 years, we’ve developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM

Hourly Rate: $27-$28.50 per hour, based off of education and experience

We are searching for a Full-Time Day Treatment Coordinator to workin our residential program located in East Brunswick, NJ.

• Independently develops, creates, measures, and plans appropriate programming to meet individual participant needs as outlined in care plan
• Lead monthly resident councils and submit reports to Clinical or Program Director
• Assists with developing and implementing culturally sensitive recreational, leisure, health oriented, and avocational activities for individual clients and client groups within the residence and in the community
• Works directly with the client and provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote the client’s success in daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational/educational pursuits as identified by clients’ treatment plan as needed
• Participates in the on-call rotation as scheduled.
  
  

Requirements

• A high school diploma along with a minimum of two to three years experience in the health care industry is required
• Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – highly preferred or as required for any local state or licensing guidelines
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained
• Ability to lift 50lbs
