Main job duties will include but are not limited to:
- Welcome and check in patients with warmth and efficiency
- Manage scheduling needs and coordinate appointments using our electronic systems
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording and updating personal and financial information
- Manages patient visit according to clinic standards anticipating provider needs and working with Support Team to improve quality and efficiency of patient visit
- Obtaining revenue by collecting patient charges and assisting the billing specialist with collections/patient statements
- Honors patients’ right to privacy and confidentiality. Adheres to strict patient, customer and business confidentiality standards.
- Calls outside agencies for medical records and reports when needed
- Professional and courteous phone interactions
- Triaging the patient phone calls
- Verifying past histories
Other applicant requirements include:
- Proficiency in medical terminology is a must.
- Office experience and computer knowledge required.
- Highly Organized individuals preferred.
- Minimum of 2 yrs. experience preferred, 1 year required.
Starting salary of $19 per hour depending on experience level.
