What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attendance Resource Coordinator position at Collaborative Solutions for Communities?
The Attendance Resource Coordinator (ARC) will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with school administrators, teachers, support staff, students, families, and community stakeholders to address attendance challenges and promote a culture of regular school attendance.
- Serving as the primary liaison between the school, families, community partners, and service providers to ensure coordinated support for students experiencing chronic absenteeism or attendance barriers.
- Providing vision, leadership, and day-to-day oversight of the PSA program within the assigned school to ensure effective implementation of all program components and adherence to program goals and requirements.
- Establishing, strengthening, and maintaining partnerships with community-based organizations, service providers, and other stakeholders to expand access to resources that support student attendance and engagement.
- Coordinating the integration of eligible PSA services into the school environment and ensuring that students and families are connected to appropriate supports and interventions.
- Monitoring student participation in PSA-funded services and working collaboratively with providers and school personnel to address barriers to engagement and service utilization.
- Conducting case management activities for students and families, including needs assessments, service planning, referrals, follow-up, and ongoing support to address factors contributing to absenteeism.
- Collaborating with school staff, counselors, social workers, attendance teams, and administrators to identify students in need of intervention and coordinate comprehensive attendance improvement strategies.
- Reviewing, analyzing, and discussing attendance and program data with school partners on a regular basis to identify trends, monitor student progress, and inform intervention planning.
- Utilizing attendance, behavioral, academic, and service utilization data to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement of attendance interventions.
- Maintaining accurate case notes, service records, referral documentation, and program reports in accordance with program requirements and confidentiality standards.
- Participating in school meetings, attendance review teams, and other collaborative planning efforts to support positive attendance outcomes for PSA-eligible students.
- Collect, maintain, and track comprehensive program, attendance, service utilization, and outcome data to support ongoing monitoring, performance measurement, reporting requirements, and a thorough evaluation of program effectiveness and student outcomes.
