We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Project Architect who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can take ownership of projects with minimal direction. This is an in-person role based in Seattle, and we are only considering candidates who are currently local or able to work on-site. Applicants should have either strong professional experience or a Master’s degree in architecture, along with a solid background in project management. As a Project Architect, you manage each project, from start to finish. This includes conceptual ideas,
schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration
services. You are responsible for leading consultants, internal resources, overseeing the development of
contract documents, adhering to budgets, facilitating contracts, construction site representation, and are a
primary client contact throughout the life of a project.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of architecture
- Any combination of residential, multi-family residential, or commercial design experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture
- AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills
- Knowledge of Monograph is helpful
- Thorough knowledge of building codes
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and graphics communication skills
- Ability to coordinate a complete set of contract documents
- Understand major building systems, detailing, and constructability
- Able to organize and oversee the work of others
- Licensed architect in the State of Washington preferred but not required.
