Operations Manager - Healthcare & Anesthesia Services

Collaborative Anesthesia Partners
Farmington, NH Full Time
POSTED ON 9/15/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 1/12/2027

Overview

Collaborative Anesthesia Partners (CAP) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing healthcare management services organization.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to lead teams, solve problems in real time, and create dependable operations in a fast-moving healthcare environment. Experience as an Operating Room Director, Director of Surgical Services, ASC Administrator, Practice Manager, or in a similar healthcare leadership role would translate especially well to this position.

The Operations Manager will initially assume responsibility for CAP’s established MSO operations, including administrative teams, provider support, credentialing, payroll coordination, compliance workflows, and operational systems. As the role develops, this individual may also provide operational leadership and support to CAP’s affiliated partners, franchisees, and expanding healthcare operations.

CAP offers a positive, collaborative culture where people support one another, take ownership of their responsibilities, and work together to solve problems. This position offers significant professional growth for a leader who can earn trust, develop people, and consistently turn plans into results.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management

  • Lead, support, and develop CAP’s administrative and operational teams
  • Establish clear expectations, responsibilities, and performance standards
  • Delegate effectively while maintaining appropriate accountability
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and individual coaching
  • Identify staffing, training, and professional-development needs
  • Address performance concerns promptly, fairly, and constructively
  • Build a culture of ownership, teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain a positive work environment where employees feel supported and accountable

MSO Operations

  • Manage CAP’s daily administrative and operational functions
  • Coordinate workflows across credentialing, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, compliance, scheduling support, and provider administration
  • Ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time
  • Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and breakdowns before they affect providers or clients
  • Develop corrective action plans and follow issues through resolution
  • Ensure effective communication between leadership, employees, providers, partners, and clients
  • Maintain operational continuity during organizational growth and periods of rapid change

Healthcare and Provider Operations

  • Support anesthesia providers and healthcare-facility relationships
  • Coordinate provider onboarding, credentialing, licensing, and compliance requirements
  • Help resolve time-sensitive staffing and clinical-operational challenges
  • Support new facility launches and expansion into additional markets
  • Work effectively with clinicians, administrators, executives, and external partners
  • Understand the operational expectations of hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, medical practices, and anesthesia providers

Partner and Franchise Support

  • Support the onboarding and ongoing operations of CAP partners and franchisees
  • Maintain consistent operational standards across affiliated locations
  • Coordinate training, documentation, communication, and implementation activities
  • Help partners identify operational problems and implement practical solutions
  • Balance organizational standards with the needs of individual markets and facilities
  • Develop scalable systems that allow CAP to support additional partners without sacrificing service quality

Systems and Process Improvement

  • Maintain and improve standard operating procedures for core business functions
  • Evaluate workflows and eliminate unnecessary delays, duplication, and confusion
  • Implement practical technology and automation solutions
  • Ensure operational documents, dashboards, and internal systems remain accurate and current
  • Create systems that are understandable, repeatable, and scalable
  • Promote continuous improvement while preserving stability and accountability

Performance and Executive Reporting

  • Establish and monitor key operational performance indicators
  • Provide concise operational reports to the CEO and executive leadership
  • Track deadlines, open issues, performance trends, and organizational risks
  • Translate executive priorities into clear assignments, owners, and timelines
  • Bring forward problems with recommended solutions—not merely reports that a problem exists
  • Lead strategic operational projects through completion
  • Protect confidential employee, provider, financial, and organizational information

What Success Looks Like:

The successful Operations Manager will:

  • Build a team that communicates clearly and follows through consistently
  • Create visible accountability without unnecessary micromanagement
  • Ensure payroll, credentialing, onboarding, and compliance workflows are accurate and timely
  • Resolve operational problems before they become organizational emergencies
  • Improve employee performance, engagement, and retention
  • Provide leadership with reliable information and practical recommendations
  • Establish scalable systems that support CAP’s continued growth
  • Develop the capability to assume broader responsibility across CAP’s partner network

Required Qualifications:

  • At least five years of progressive management or operations experience
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing teams
  • Experience establishing accountability and improving employee performance
  • Strong critical-thinking and real-time problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize effectively when multiple urgent issues arise
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and consistent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while remaining closely aligned with executive leadership
  • Sound judgment, emotional intelligence, and professional discretion
  • Experience implementing and improving operational processes
  • Comfort using business software, performance dashboards, and collaborative technology platforms.

Preferred Background:

Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:

  • Operating room or surgical-services leadership
  • Ambulatory surgery center administration
  • Hospital or medical-group operations
  • Anesthesia or perioperative services
  • Multi-location healthcare operations
  • Provider credentialing and onboarding
  • Healthcare compliance and quality improvement
  • Revenue cycle or healthcare financial operations
  • Franchise, partnership, or distributed-business operations
  • New facility openings or healthcare-market launches

Clinical credentials are welcomed but are not required. The ability to lead people and manage complex healthcare operations effectively is more important than holding a particular clinical license.

The Right Person for This Role

The right candidate is a calm, capable leader who can assess a situation quickly, make sound decisions, and communicate clearly. This person is comfortable taking responsibility, asking difficult questions, and holding others accountable while remaining fair, constructive, and supportive.

They should enjoy building strong teams, developing people, and creating order in a growing organization. They must be equally comfortable discussing operational strategy with executive leadership and working directly with team members to solve an immediate problem.

Why Join CAP?

  • Join an established and growing healthcare organization
  • Lead a talented, collaborative, and supportive team
  • Assume ownership of an MSO platform that is substantially built and ready for its next stage
  • Work directly with executive leadership and influence organizational direction
  • Help shape operations across multiple healthcare markets
  • Gain exposure to anesthesia services, MSO operations, partnerships, and franchising
  • Pursue meaningful advancement as CAP’s partner network and operating platform expand
  • Make a measurable impact on providers, facilities, employees, and patients

Collaborative Anesthesia Partners is looking for more than someone who can maintain a task list. We are seeking a leader who can develop people, strengthen systems, solve difficult problems, and help build the next stage of CAP.
