Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric experience to join a well-established medical group in Meriden, CT. This is a 13-week assignment with the potential to extend based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a primary care setting.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct patient assessments, document care, and update medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other healthcare staff.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
- Prior experience in pediatrics required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
