Structural engineer Direct Hire: Abernathy, Texas, US Salary Range: 100000.00 - 130000.00 | Per Annum Job Code: 368332 End Date: 2026-04-26 Days Left: 26 days, 20 hours left Role: Lead Civil/Structural Engineer Location: Texas working remotely. Travel plans of 3-5 day per month to job site in Abernathy, TX - 79311 Duration: Fulltime/Direct Hire Salary Range: $100K-$130K MISSION The Lead Civil/Structural Engineer will lead site and structural design efforts for mission-critical data center facilities. This role will ensure all civil and structural systems are designed to meet performance, safety, and code requirements while supporting fast-track project execution and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams. DAY TO DAY Develop site plans including grading, drainage, roadways, and access routes Design structural systems for data center buildings (steel, concrete, precast framing) Engineer foundations, slabs-on-grade, and seismic/wind load systems Coordinate routing of water, sewer, storm, and electrical utilities Design structural supports for mission-critical equipment (generators, UPS, chillers, etc.) Prepare structural drawings, details, and technical specifications Support Supply Chain Management (SCM) and prefabrication teams Participate in vendor design reviews and coordination meetings Manage multiple project deadlines in fast-track design-build environments Travel regularly to the United States for project support MUST HAVES NEED TO TRAVEL TO US FOR WORK 3-5 DAY EACH MONTH Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field 5–12 years of building design experience (industrial or mission-critical preferred) Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, and relevant local building codes Experience designing foundations and structural systems for commercial/industrial facilities Proficiency in Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit, or similar design tools Experience working in fast-track design-build environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple deadlines This is a direct hire opportunity.
