Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager – Technology Procurement

Job Summary:

A leading global investment and technology-focused organization is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead enterprise-level technology procurement and sourcing initiatives. This role will focus on supplier strategy, contract negotiations, cost optimization, procurement analytics, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement across large-scale technology categories including software, cloud, and infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will bring deep sourcing expertise within complex global environments and strong experience negotiating strategic technology agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership teams on sourcing, procurement, and vendor management initiatives across technology categories

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies focused on cost optimization, supplier consolidation, operational efficiency, and risk reduction

• Lead competitive sourcing initiatives including RFI, RFP, RFQ, proof-of-concept evaluations, and vendor selection activities

• Analyze enterprise spend data and procurement trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sourcing outcomes

• Build executive-level presentations and business cases using procurement analytics and reporting tools

• Negotiate complex software, hardware, cloud, and technology service agreements with global suppliers

• Draft, review, and redline contracts including service level agreements and commercial terms

• Partner closely with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives with enterprise objectives

• Conduct supplier risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to support business continuity

• Drive supplier relationship management activities to ensure service quality, performance, and operational excellence

• Support enterprise-wide cost optimization and transformation initiatives through strategic sourcing programs

• Mentor and support junior sourcing and procurement professionals as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field

• Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain strategy, or technology vendor management within a global organization

• Strong experience negotiating enterprise-level software, hardware, and cloud agreements

• Expertise with sourcing methodologies including RFI, RFP, RFQ, vendor selection, and supplier negotiations

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills including total cost of ownership analysis and demand forecasting

• Experience with procurement analytics, spend analysis, and business case development

• Advanced knowledge of contract negotiations, commercial terms, and service level agreements

• Strong stakeholder management and executive presentation skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and AI-enabled productivity tools

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline

• Experience supporting financial services, technology, or consulting organizations

• Experience partnering with finance or budget management teams on cost optimization initiatives

• Knowledge of supplier risk management and procurement transformation programs

• Experience leading cross-functional sourcing or operational excellence initiatives

Pay Range: $80/hr to $95/hr
