Job Summary:

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a multi-phase construction project from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing daily construction activities, coordinating multiple stakeholders, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead complex onsite operations.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of construction projects from planning through project closeout.

• Define project scope, develop budgets, prepare cost estimates, and manage project deliverables.

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, milestones, and resource plans.

• Coordinate daily construction activities with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, clients, landlords, and local officials.

• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and architectural plans to ensure project accuracy.

• Prepare bid packages, negotiate contracts, manage subcontractors, and oversee contract modifications and change orders.

• Issue and manage construction work permits, including hot work, confined space, surface penetration, and work-at-height permits.

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations, building codes, and environmental requirements.

• Enforce construction safety programs, conduct site inspections, and maintain compliance with OSHA Construction Industry standards.

• Monitor project quality, oversee quality assurance and quality control activities, and resolve field issues proactively.

• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects.

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

• Knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry Regulations (29 CFR 1926).

• Experience issuing construction work permits, including hot work, working at heights, and surface penetration permits.

• Strong project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office applications.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing projects within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, manufacturing, or regulated environments.

• Familiarity with large-scale capital construction projects.

• Experience coordinating with municipal agencies and obtaining construction permits.

• OSHA certification or additional construction safety credentials.

Pay Range: $50/hr to $60/hr
