Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on final assemblies within a manufacturing environment to ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves evaluating finished products, documenting inspection results, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position works closely with engineering and quality teams to maintain product integrity and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured components and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
• Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Document inspection results within batch records and quality systems
• Identify defects, analyze failures, and support root cause investigations
• Collaborate with engineering teams on product development and non-conformance issues
• Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and internal quality procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for traceability and audits
• Communicate quality issues and solutions clearly to cross-functional teams
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0–2 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools
• Basic understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in regulated industries such as medical device or manufacturing
• Familiarity with cGMP or quality system standards
• Exposure to non-conformance handling and quality audits
