Job Summary:
The Associate Planner is responsible for supporting production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to ensure smooth manufacturing operations. This role works cross-functionally to maintain alignment with production schedules and material demand. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze production planning requirements and take appropriate actions to support schedules and material demand
• Plan, order, and manage inventory and materials to ensure operational continuity
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize disruptions to production schedules
• Serve as a point of contact for production and material-related communications and issue resolution
• Support execution of production planning, scheduling, and material management processes
• Assist with administrative and tactical tasks to support departmental objectives
• Contribute to short-term and long-term planning initiatives aligned with organizational goals
• Identify risks and provide contingency solutions through analysis and problem-solving
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience or exposure to working in a regulated environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
• Ability to build professional relationships and collaborate across teams
• Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Proficiency in using databases and standard computer software tools
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and project coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain functions
• Familiarity with inventory management processes
• Exposure to manufacturing or operations environments
