Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to support the design, analysis, and development of electrical components and assemblies for innovative engineering projects. This role focuses on ensuring designs are cost-effective, manufacturable, reliable, and aligned with project objectives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams while serving as a technical expert on complex engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform design analysis of electrical components and assemblies to support product development and engineering objectives.
• Develop solutions that improve manufacturability, reliability, and overall product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to coordinate design activities and ensure timely project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on complex engineering projects.
• Evaluate engineering designs and recommend improvements based on technical analysis and best practices.
• Support design reviews, documentation, and engineering change activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to product design and development.
• Operate as a senior technical contributor in a non-supervisory capacity.
Required Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of seven years of electrical engineering experience in a product development or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical component and assembly design analysis.
• Strong understanding of design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience supporting highly regulated manufacturing or medical technology environments.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, design reviews, and product lifecycle processes.
