Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and support modern enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Framework, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, SQL, and microservices architecture.
The role requires a strong understanding of software engineering best practices, secure SDLC, CI/CD, Agile delivery, and modern DevOps practices. Experience within the financial services industry and exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is highly desirable.


Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.


• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.


• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure application architectures.


• Develop efficient SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.


• Follow secure SDLC practices and enterprise development standards.


• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support modern DevOps practices.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.


• Leverage AI-assisted development tools, including GitHub Copilot, to improve development productivity and code quality.


• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to production support and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of software engineering experience.


• 5 years of Java development experience using Spring Frameworks.


• 2 years of React development experience.


• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.


• Hands-on experience designing and integrating REST APIs.


• Strong SQL development and database performance tuning experience.


• Experience with secure SDLC practices.


• Strong experience designing and developing microservices-based solutions.


• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


• Experience delivering software in an Agile environment.

Desired Skills

• Experience with GitHub Copilot Agent Mode.


• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools.


• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.


• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.


• Experience with cloud platforms


• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.


• Experience supporting applications within the financial services industry.


• Experience with risk, compliance, workflow, or reporting platforms.


• Strong understanding of enterprise application development, scalability, security, and performance.
