Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Johnston, Iowa
Pay Range: $60/hr - $70/hr
Requisition Description
Responsibilities:
- Develops, codes, configures, and tests programs and systems.
- Evaluates and implements enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications.
- Analyzes assignments and determines software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives.
- Executes necessary documentation, as directed, or needed.
- Collaborates with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs.
- Follows industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation.
- Mentors junior software engineers on the team.
Technical requirements (Required)
- 3 years of experience working in full stack development
- Advanced knowledge of React
- Advanced knowledge of JAVA & JavaScript
- Working knowledge of AWS
- Working knowledge of DevOps (GIT, Jenkins, terraform or AWS CloudFormation)
Other Requirements(Teaming Skills - Required)
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to escalate impediments and coach others on best practices
- Demonstrated work experience in a team environment
- Experience in Agile work environment
