Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP for Utilities functional-technical lead in the ISU Contract Accounting Receivable & Payables space, to support the design, build, and delivery of complex billing, payments, and collections capabilities.
This role requires deep ISU revenue management expertise combined with strong ABAP development skills and hands-on experience in utility billing models and supplier remittance.
We are looking for:
- Expert-level experience with SAP for Utilities (IS-U) with deep focus on contract accounting in deregulated markets
- Expert knowledge of ISU payment processing and configuration
- Strong BRF design and implementation experience
- Advanced ABAP design and development skills with ISU contract accounting specialization
- Experience with SAP ISU Multi-Channel Framework and OData service development
- Strong understanding of supplier remittance processes
- Knowledge of ACH / NACHA standards and common banking interfaces
- Experience with Distributor Consolidated Billing and dual-billing models in a Utility setting
Nice to have:
- SAP Workflow experience
- AWS Athena and/or SAP HANA SQL experience
- Prior experience on large-scale utility transformation programs
- Experience working in deregulated utility environments
Responsibilities:
- Design and support enhancements in the FI-CA area (complex clearing, complex dunning/collections strategies, implementation of FI-CA events, BRF , workflow)
- Support the FI-CA customer product owner
- Provide top-level operations support for the FI-CA area
- Hands-on coding is required at times
- Estimation of new work and assisting with backlog prioritization
- Mentor junior team members
