Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer
Location: Mountainhome Pennsylvania 18326
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Pay range: $60HR - $65HR
Job Summary:
- Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The role involves process improvement, troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes and procedures
- Support production by troubleshooting process and equipment issues
- Conduct testing and process evaluations to ensure quality control
- Recommend tools, fixtures, and equipment improvements
- Collaborate with quality and production teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiative
Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Experience with conventional machining processes
- Knowledge of special processes: brazing, heat treating, chemical processing, surface finishing
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards
Preferred:
- Aerospace or high-precision manufacturing experience
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge
- Experience with process validation and root cause analysis
