Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items during transportation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
• Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving items and organizing inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving and delivery.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
