What You’ll Do
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of excavation crews.
- Inspect job sites, equipment, and progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to plan project procedures.
- Order and track materials and supplies as needed.
- Accurately locate, measure, and mark site locations for structures and equipment.
- Coordinate work activities with other crews and project stakeholders.
- Assign tasks based on crew needs and material requirements.
- Train team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Manage project timelines to ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain equipment service and maintenance logs.
- Report any accidents or incidents to management promptly.
- A proven leader with experience in excavation and site operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and equipment operation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans with confidence.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
